Children are not permited to play in the lobby, garage, parking areas, elevators or front lawn. Reasonable supervision must be exercised when children are playing on the rear lawn. For the complete document click HERE.
Every Kitchen is equipped with a diposal which is to be used for such things as peelings, rinds, coffee grounds, table scraps and other wet garbage.For the complete document click HERE.
A permanent undercover parking stall has been assigned to each lessee. In the event a Lessee has two cars, one must be parked outside. No lessee should park both cars outside for any extended period. For the complete document click HERE.
Employees of The Dorchester are under the supervision of the Manager. The House Men and Gardener have a full schedule for each day, which is prepared by the Manager. They have been instructed to carry out their duties as orderly as possible. However, they have also been instructed to assist Lessees and the ir guests with their luggage upon their arrival or departure. All other request's for service by these men must be taken up directly with the Manager
Each Lessee is to submit to the Manager, in written form, properly signed, instructions for closing of apartments and care of apartment during the Lessee's absence. Approved forms are in the Manager's possession. Aproximately thirty days advance notice should be given to the Manager for opening apartments due to the amount of work involved and the scheduling of help.
Any Damage caused to the furnishings or decorations in any apartment because of leaks in the roof of the building shall be borne by The Dorchester, Inc. and any such damage caused by leaking from within another apartment, except from concealed pipes or plumbing not susceptible or inspection by the Lessee thereof, shall be borne by the Lessee from whose apartment said damaged originated
