This Week at DeSoto Park North

Dear DPN Residents,

We would like to share a brief update on this week’s activities and remind everyone of a few community rules.

50-Year Recertification Project

The project continues to move forward in Building 8.

This week, PD Contractor’s painting crew prepared Line 20 (Units 520–120) for painting, which is scheduled to begin Monday.

We are also moving into the next work areas. Residents in Lines 14, 12, and 11 have been notified that the contractor will begin preparing these balcony lines starting Monday. Residents in the affected units are reminded to keep their balconies completely clear so the contractor can work safely and without delays.

Temporary dust walls were also removed from several units this week as work in those areas progressed.

Thank you to all residents who have provided access to their units, cleared their balconies, and cooperated with the construction notices. Your cooperation is helping us keep the project moving forward.

Community Reminders

We have recently received complaints regarding excessive noise, including children running and playing in hallways and other common areas.

Please remember that hallways, lobbies, stairways, and other common areas are not play areas. Parents and guardians are responsible for making sure children do not run, play, yell, or create excessive noise in these areas.

Residents are also reminded to be considerate of their neighbors and keep noise at a reasonable level, particularly during the Association’s quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

We also remind everyone that washing vehicles on Association property is not permitted. Please help us avoid unnecessary violations by following this rule.

Common Areas & Amenities

The 4th-floor dryer in Building 7, which had been reported out of service, was serviced by CSC ServiceWorks today and has been repaired. It is now back in service.

The men sauna was repaired again this week after being damaged due to improper use.

We have also received concerns regarding the tennis court lights. Please do not adjust or modify the lighting timers or other Association equipment. Locks will be installed on the timer boxes to prevent unauthorized changes.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience, especially as the 50-Year Recertification Project continues to move into new areas of the property.
