Judging from cars depicted, this brochure dates from 1979-80 when The Hemispheres was one of the most luxurious resident-resorts on A1A in Broward and Dade Counties (see the timeline). Its residents were largely, well-to-do middle age, Jewish, many New Yorkers. Children and teenagers abounded. Dress was much more formal than today, but that's as much a reflection of our age. We'd love to hear from residents about many of the lapsed amenities.
